今日のインスピレーション~ Motives & Thoughts ：動機＆思考

ヨガのヒーリングパワーは益々現代社会に大きな意味を持つ。物質的には裕福な先進国に住む現代人の多くはうつ病やプチうつ、様々な心配に悩まされ、ストレスを抱え、物資的に裕福になる事で得られると思っていた喜び 〜 happiness は得られていない。


みんな心の底ではわかっている、仕事の成功、車、薄型テレビやスマートフォンを手に入れても物質的な満足感だけでは心からハッピーにはなれない事を。思想家、詩人、ヘンリー・デイヴィッド・ソローが言う  "a life of quiet desperation"　〜　ほとんどの人達が "静かな絶望の人生を辿る” 。
  

現代社会やニユースを観察するとわかる事がある。ガンディーやキング牧師などの独立運動に影響を与えたラルフ・ワルド・エマーソンやヘ ンリー・デイヴィッド・ソローの思想、文献は物質文明の発展が問い直されている今日、ソローやエマーソンの思想の持つ意味はますます大きいと思う。

現代でも詩人やアーティストが芸術を通して社会的なメッセージを投げかけている。素晴らしいアーティスト達からのインスピレーションは soul を揺さぶり、怠惰から行動に導いてくれる。 

さけたくてもさけれない、結局だれもがスピリチュアルな問答を自分の中でしていかねばならない。

Sick of psychology and counterfeit cures
Wicked theology robbing the poor
Scheme demonology misleading the pure
Strict and strategically studying war
A light shone in darkness, an image exposed
But few can see through the new emperor's clothes
Lustful, this hustle turns humans to hoes

When the blind lead the blind just more trouble and woes
It's the mind that they chose; it's designed to stay closed
Standards of jokers, court jester logic
A sick looking cosmic, from schoolyard to college
Primitive man in a civilized knowledge
System collapse and he still won't acknowledge

God as the savior
But he studies behavior
trying to fix the mixed mind that he gave you
Stiff-necked scholars on prescription meds
Wishing their problems was all in their heads
Moral dilemma, pride at the root
Misguided from youth, heart divided from truth
Egyptians and Grecians spiritually dead
Empirically led by the good gods in their heads

Heart full of madness, but covered with kind
A pleasure designed to take over your mind
Furnished in godliness
Painted in good
This tainted priesthood has got real saint misunderstood
While classes of government set up the veil
And cultivate the mind for more mythical tales
Typical Hollywood follies, good girl
While vice and corruption take over the world
